It seems a new prehistoric comedy has finally secured a summer-friendly rating. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Year One has been given a PG-13 rating.

The Harold Ramis film had initially been given an R rating and also lost an appeal to get the rating lowered. Ramis and producer Judd Apatow were forced to make some cuts to the film and this new cut was granted a PG-13 rating.

The new rating is for "for crude and sexual content throughout, brief strong language and comic violence." The film, which stars Jack Black and Michael Cera, is set to open on June 19.
