Last week, we reported that filmmaker Kevin Smith is joining forces with Johnny Depp and the cast of his upcoming film Tusk for the new thriller Yoga Hosers. Production is already under way in Canada, as the filmmaker reveals through his Twitter page today that Stan Lee has been cast as a police officer.

The project marks a reunion for Kevin Smith and Stan Lee, nearly 20 years after the Marvel legend appeared in the director's second feature film, Mallrats.

Harley Quinn Smith and Rose-Marie Melody Depp, the daughters of Kevin Smith and Johnny Depp, star as two teenagers who have after-school jobs at a convenience store called Eh-2-Zed. When an ancient evil force begins to rise up through the Canadian surface, the girls' plans to attend a big party are dashed, while they must team up with legendary hunter Guy LaPointe (Johnny Depp) to defeat this nefarious supernatural entity using all seven Chakra poses.

Tusk stars Michael Parks, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, Ralph Garman, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith and Harley Morenstein are all returning for Yoga Hosers, along with new casting additions Tony Hale, Natasha Lyonne, Austin Robert Butler, Adam Brody, Tyler Posey and Jason Mewes.

Kevin Smith is directing from his own original script, with Yoga Hosers serving as the second film in his "True North Trilogy" after Tusk, which hits theaters September 19.
