It's official! Zoolander 2 is going down in the Guinness Book of World Records. It didn't break any box office records. But star Ben Stiller managed to show the world what Blue Steel looks like hanging from 28 feet in the air. Yes, that's right! The comedian managed to set the world record for the Longest Selfie stick last night at the premiere of his long-anticipated sequel.

Zoolander 2 has pulled some amazing stunts in the months leading up to it's worldwide debut. Just last week, stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson went in character as Derek Zoolander and Hansel to live model in the window of the Valentino Store. Now, the duo, along with the help of the rest of their cast and crew, snapped what is the biggest selfie of all time!

The longest Selfie Stick record occurred on the red carpet Thursday evening, in London during the Zoolander 2 premiere. Ben Stiller brought along the contraption himself, which measured an amazing 8.56 meters in length. As it was lifted into the air, it swayed in the night breeze, bending and twisting like a giant fishing pole. It took some effort to get it under control.

After a few tries, Ben Stiller managed to get a handle on the contraption. He steadied the shot enough so it wouldn't be blurry. And then he snapped the historic photo. You can see his efforts at the official Zoolander Twitter, and it certainly is a sight to behold!

Among those visible in the photo along with Ben Stiller are his co-stars Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Penélope Cruz and Kristen Wiig. Co-writer Justin Theroux was also on hand. In Zoolander 2 , Models Derek Zoolander and Hansel must stop a conspiracy to kill the world's most beautiful people. The comedy sequel hits theaters Thursday, February 11 or preview screenings before opening wide on February 12, just in time for Valentine's Day.
