Be real -- who doesn't like to party? We all have stories of crazy nights out on the town, though we might accidentally omit a few of the evening's details of the retelling of said stories. This can be attributed in large part to both the amnesic effects of alcohol and your friend group's reluctance to fill your narrative plot holes out of sheer embarrassment at the cringetastic chaos of the night in question. However, given the wide variety of entertaining locations, there are to choose from, it can be very difficult to know if you're getting your party on in the right place. Finding the right combination of snack spots, entertainment venues, and watering holes can be nearly impossible.

The recently released truTV television series 101 Places to Party Before You Die seeks to inform prospective partiers where exactly they should go to ensure a fulfilling night (or day) of carousing. Hosts Jon Gabrus and Adam Pally take viewers on a journey around the country, showing us the most delicious food and drink from different cities and racking up countless unforgettable experiences along the way. With season one wrapped, here's why we need another season of 101 Places to Party Before You Die.

The hosts of 101 Places to Party Before You Die, Adam Pally and Jon Gabrus, have been friends for many years. Their close-knit relationship shines through in the series, making for effortless banter and a whole lot of inappropriate humor that would be impossible without a certain level of comfort. Furthermore, both men are married and routinely reference their spouses, making for many hilarious moments as the two descend into debauchery.

Pally and Gabrus have had long careers playing minor parts in major motion pictures (keen-eyed observers might recognize Pally from his role as Gary in Iron Man 3). They used to do improv shows with one another. In the Portland episode, they participate in an adults-only improv show wherein performers are made to win the approval of an Eastern European dominatrix. The food and drink featured in the show are mouth-watering, to be sure, but the biggest reason that 101 Places to Party Before You Die should be brought packed is its pair of talented hosts.

Before fully committing to the party, Gabrus and Pally sit down and taste the local flavors, often washing down their vittles with a few adult beverages. The series showcased many local restaurants, and potential future seasons could highlight an untold number of small businesses.

Each episode ends with what the hosts call "The Last Supper," where the two men momentarily set down their drinks (with the possible exception of a bottle of wine) and go all in on an exorbitant fine-dining experience. Gabrus and Pally recap their recent exploits, and their raunchy humor often seems out of place in the fancy restaurants, which makes the recurring scene an effective endcap to each episode. If nothing else, another season would mean another few expensive meals for the two talented hosts, which they absolutely deserve.

The series isn't all food and drink. In between meals, the two hosts go on different adventures. The season finale, set in Maui, saw the duo rappelling down a picturesque waterfall, a terrifying task that made Jon Gabrus swear off the outdoors forever. During their adventure in Utah's premiere outdoor activity hub, Moab, they climbed inside a Monster-Truck-style dune buggy and raced around the mountainous terrain.

Seeing the generally indoorsy comedians expand their horizons on these trips was wildly entertaining. It would be interesting to see what adventures the show's creators could cook up in future episodes.

Despite all the other life experiences that the show depicts, it is inarguably at its best when Gabrus and Pally and getting drunk. Even when their faculties have abandoned them, their comedic instincts still function perfectly, and the jokes pour out almost as liberally as beer from the nearby taps. The show is actually based on the book 101 Places to Get F*cked Up Before You Die, and the hosts certainly achieve sloshed status. A potential second season could showcase more epic nights of drinking and all the classic comedic moments that come along with that.

Currently, there are only eight episodes of 101 Places to Party Before You Die available. Obviously, the show fell far short of its promise to showcase triple-digit celebration destinations. The gorgeous locations, delicious food, and the ridiculous antics of best pals Gabrus and Pally make this show stand out among the myriad travel show offerings currently on television. Hopefully, the series will get another night out on the town.
