Jake M. Johnson (No Strings Attached, Get Him to the Greek) has joined the cast of the 20th Century Fox remake 21 Jump Street. It isn't known what role he will play at this time.

The story centers on a group of young undercover cops who infiltrate a high school to try and take down a powerful drug operation. The cast already includes Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Brie Larson, Dave Franco, Rob Riggle, and DeRay Davis.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller will direct 21 Jump Street from a screenplay by Michael Bacall, Joe Gazzam, and Jonah Hill.

Production will start later this month in New Orleans. Jake M. Johnson can currently be seen in Ceremony, which stars Uma Thurman, Michael Angarano, and Lee Pace. Jake M. Johnson previously worked with Jonah Hill in Get Him to the Greek.
