House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects writer-director Rob Zombie's third and final Firefly Family motion picture 3 from Hell will be unleashed upon the masses later this year - in the September vicinity. And today it looks like Zombie is teasing a special event screening of the upcoming movie which will allow fans to be the very first people to see the film. But don't get too excited just yet. Once again, Zombie is only teasing the details of this special event, but he says he will be bringing us the full details on Monday.

Specifically, Rob Zombie writes this.

"Attention! Attention! On Monday stay tuned for news on how you can be part of a special event and be the first folks to see THREE FROM HELL!!!!! It's on!"

Well, even though we have no clue as to what Zombie is referring to here, the man sure does seem excited about it. And rightfully so. I mean I can only imagine the shock-rocker is more than a little bit aware of how passionate his fans are for this new Firefly Family adventure. I think this will be a test screening of sorts, but in true Rob Zombie fashion, it will be a bit more contained than the usual run-of-the-mill test screenings studios tend to host in malls around America. And truth be told, this is probably the safest bet for Zombie and the powers that be behind the scenes of this new movie. After all, only hardcore fans are going to be invited to this screening, and I can only imagine that their reactions will make for stellar word-of-mouth for the film. As a movie critic myself, I can say that critics be damned when it comes to a Rob Zombie joint, it's my fellow fans' reactions that I'm really going to be basing my excitement on.

Once again, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects writer-director Rob Zombie will be sharing the details on his planned special event screening of Three From Hell on Monday. So stay tuned!

Until then remember that Three From Hell will see the return of Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding along with Bill Moseley as Otis B. Driftwood, and Sheri Moon Zombie as Vera-Ellen "Baby" Firefly. They will be joined this time around the trailer park by 31 breakout Richard Brake as Winslow Foxworth "Foxy" Coltrane along with Jeff Daniel Phillips as Warden Virgil Dallas Harper, Bill Oberst Jr as Tony Commando, Daniel Roebuck as Morris Green, and Danny Trejo as Rondo. Pancho Moler rounds out the cast as Sebastian, along with Dee Wallace as Greta, and Clint Howard as Mr. Baggy Britches. Additional casting includes Tom Papa, Austin Stoker, David Ury, Emilio Rivera, and Wade Williams.

On top of writing and directing Three From Hell, Rob Zombie also serves as the flick's producer along with Mike Elliott, and Greg Holstein and Jonathan Saba serving as the film's executive producers. David Daniel is the movie's cinematographer, and the whole bloody affair will be cut together by editor Glenn Garland. The new movie - which has already snagged an R-rating via the MPAA for "strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use," will be unleashed upon the masses later this year - in the September vicinity.
