Rob Zombie is bringing back yet another cast member from The Devil's Rejects for his upcoming sequel, 3 from Hell. Danny Trejo, known for his work in movies like Machete and From Dusk Till Dawn outside of his collaboration with Zombie, will be reprising his role as Rondo in 3 From Hell, which is currently filming. Details on how he's going to fit into the movie are being kept under wraps but Rondo is coming back.

The news was revealed by director Rob Zombie on Instagram. He's been quite active on social media throughout the production of 3 From Hell, which started filming last month and came as something of a surprise. The movie will serve as the culmination of the trilogy that started with his debut feature, House of 1000 Corpses and continued with The Devil's Rejects in 2005. Now, more than a decade later, the Firefly Family is coming back, and Danny Trejo will be there with them. Zombie made the announcement by posting a photo of himself with Trejo from the set. Here's what he had to say.

"Well kids, Rondo aka @officialdannytrejo is back and ready to get crazy in 3 From Hell. #robzombie #3fromhell #dannytrejo"

With the news that Danny Trejo is coming back for 3 From Hell, we have to wonder if Diamond Dallas Page's Billy Ray Snapper will be included as well. We know for sure that Sheri Moon Zombie's Baby, Bill Moseley's Otis and Sid Haig's Captain Spaulding are all set to return. However, those who have seen The Devil's Rejects know that the trio seemingly died in a hail of gunfire at the end of the movie. So how exactly they're going to return has yet to be revealed, but it's been largely speculated that this movie is going to take things in a bit of a supernatural direction and, as the title implies, the killers are literally going to return to Earth from hell to wreak more bloody havoc.

In further casting news, it's also been reported that Pancho Moler, who starred as Sick-Head in Rob Zombie's 31, will also be in 3 From Hell. Details on his role have yet to be revealed, but he joins an ensemble that already includes Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13), Dee Wallace (E.T.}), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Halloween 2), Dot-Marie Jones (American Horror Story), Tom Papa (El Superbeasto) and Ron Howard's brother, Clint Howard (Apollo 13). Couple that with the Danny Trejo news and this movie is packed with genre movie favorites.

3 From Hell doesn't have an official synopsis or release date yet. The lack of synopsis probably has to do with the fact that Rob Zombie wants to keep the mystery of how the movie's locked up tight until the time is right. As for the release? It could be that he's going to work out a distribution plan once filming is complete, but an early 2019 release seems reasonable. This news comes to us courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.
