Rob Zombie's 3 from Hell is set to be unleashed on moviegoers this fall for a special, limited run. The latest from the musician turned filmmaker serves as a sequel to House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. He's partnered with Lionsgate and Saban Films for a special three-night event this September, which will see Fathom Events broadcasting the unrated cut of his latest horror offering, allowing for maximum carnage. Lionsgate President of Worldwide Home Entertainment Ron Schwartz had this to say.

"We are excited to collaborate again with Rob Zombie. With House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, Rob Zombie delivered thrills and high doses of gore to genre fans. We look forward to bringing this next chapter to screens with Saban Films and Fathom."

The movie is set to screen September 16 through 18. Each screening will contain different, bonus content. On September 16, the screening will contain a special video introduction from Rob Zombie. The first 50 attendees at each theater will receive an exclusive poster. Moviegoers who see 3 From Hell on September 17 will be treated to a nearly 30-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of the sequel. Finally, on the 18, those who head to a participating theater will be treated to a double feature of 3 From Hell and The Devil's Rejects. Zombie had this to say in a statement.

"This event is a long time coming. The journey of these characters has always been special to me and I am thrilled to finally let the fans experience the next episode of the Firefly madness. This project was a true labor of love for everyone involved and we know we have created something amazing for the loyal followers of these films. Let the insanity begin!"

Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie and Sid Haig all return as the Firefly Family, following what seemed to be their bullet-filled demise at the end of The Devil's Rejects. The cast also includes. Danny Trejo, Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Dee Wallace, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Kevin Jackson, Sean Whalen, Austin Stoker, Bill Oberst Jr., Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Riehle and Tom Papa. Rob Zombie has also promised there will be some cameos in there as well. Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt had this to say.

"Scary movies are best experienced in a dark movie theater alongside fellow fans. This is why we continue to partner with Rob Zombie, Lionsgate and Saban Films to premiere the very best horror films on our platform."

In addition to the announcement, a new poster for the movie has been released, boasting the tagline "The evil returns." 3 From Hell was written and directed by Rob Zombie. Those interested in attending the event on any of the three nights will be able to purchase tickets at a participating theatre or online at FathomEvents.com starting Friday, July 19.
