Following the recent release of the 3 from Hell teaser trailer, director Rob Zombie has taken to Facebook to answer some of the new questions being asked by fans. This includes one which fans have been wondering since the very first announcement of the sequel; when will the movie be released? "The movie will be in theaters in September," Zombie emphatically states, noting he isn't sure of the exact release date yet. Additionally, Zombie says a longer trailer for the movie, which will hopefully present a lot more actual footage from the sequel, will be released in July. Of course, there isn't an exact date for that full trailer's release yet either, but at least we can expect it sometime next month.

Rob Zombie answered a few other questions in the Facebook post. First, Zombie confirmed Captain Spaulding will in fact be in the movie, as some fans were apparently questioning his inclusion. "Well, you have to see the film for that answer," Zombie says when asked how the Firefly family managed to survive the events of The Devil's Rejects. Finally, the filmmaker also confirms that the plot will be set immediately following what happened in the previous movie. Going by the sneak peek photos showing the characters in police custody, it seems that the Fireflys will be going on trial for their sadistic murders.

To hype the release of the 3 From Hell teaser trailer, Zombie had been unveiling various character sneak peeks on his social media accounts. This includes a look at a scarred and bloody Otis (Bill Moseley), presumably haven escaped his way back onto the streets with his family. Moseley has previously expressed how brutally violent the movie is, which coincides with the hard R rating the sequel has also been given. Don't go into 3 from Hell expecting a legal drama with three convicted murderers going through the system. Look for the homicidal trio to somehow break free and reband to deliver perhaps their bloodiest murder spree yet.

3 from Hell will see Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and Sheri Moon Zombie all reprising their roles as Otis, Captain Spaulding, and Baby Firefly. Some of the other confirmed cast members include Danny Trejo (Machete), Dee Wallace (Cujo), Richard Brake (Game of Thrones), Daniel Roebuck (The Fugitive), Bill Oberst Jr. (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies), and Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Lords of Salem). Zombie has teased many "bizarre" cameo appearances as well, revealing Chaz Bono will be among multiple random celebrities to show up in the movie.

We may not have the official release date for 3 from Hell just yet, but maybe that will be known when the full trailer premieres next month. While an exact day has yet to be made, we can look forward to seeing the Firefly clan again when they reunite this September. As the prior two installments are widely considered to be among Zombie's best works, hopefully the sequel will do the franchise proud in all its gory glory.
