Three actors have signed on to a kidnapping thriller. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gemma Arterton, Eddie Marsan and Martin Compston have all been cast in The Disappearance of Alice Creed.

The film revolves around a kidnapping where two kidnappers (Marsan and Compston) plan and execute the perfect kidnapping of a young rich girl (Arterton), when things slowly start to go awry.

The film will mark the directorial debut of J Blakeson, who co-wrote The Descent 2. Filming will begin today on the Isle of Man.
