Alchemy presents 31! Rob Zombie welcomes you to Hell in this brand new teaser poster, which we have for you right here! 31 will premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on January 23rd in the Midnight section! This new nightmare experience was written and directed by Rob Zombie!

Rob Zombie reunites with his wife Sheri Moon Zombie and Halloween star Malcolm McDowell for an experience that promises to be unlike any other. This new horror thriller also stars Elizabeth Daily, Meg Foster and Ginger Lynn Allen. Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, who appeared in Rob Zombie's previous directorial effort The Lords of Salem, rounds out the cast alongside Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and Richard Brake.

31 tells the story of five carnies in 1976 kidnapped on the morning of Halloween. They are held hostage in a remote industrial Hell. While trapped, they are forced to play a violent game called 31. The mission is to survive 12 hours against an endless gang of grease painted maniacs. It promises to be 102 minutes of pure terror only like Rob Zombie can deliver.

This past September, Rob Zombie brought us our first look at what he believes will be the next iconic horror villain. Richard Brake plays Doom-Head, a gruesome looking guy who likes to dismember his victims. Rob Zombie has a unique and cleaver way of creating memorable characters. And it looks like he'll be at it again with 31. About his latest creation Doom-Head, he had this to say via his Facebook page.

"31 news! DOOM-HEAD (aka Richard Brake) does not fuck around. This guy is one fucking intense dude. I predict that he is the next great villain of horror."

Will Doom-Head be the next great villain? More iconic than Otis or, god forbid, even Captain Spaulding? Some might think these words blasphemous! Even if Doom-Head doesn't live up to Rob Zombie's more gruesome creations, he has to be better than some of the ghouls we've gotten in movies lately. There hasn't been a fresh Freddy or Jason unleashed on screen in years. Do you think Richard Brake is up to the challenge? And does his scary face hint at the franchise potential of 31? You can see Doom-Head along with the other grisly characters on display in 31 with this first poster. We're sure the first trailer can't be too far behind.
