Back in May, Rob Zombie announced his next horror project will be 31 with a teaser that touts his past achievements in the genre like House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, the Halloween reboot, and The Lords of Salem. At the time, he offered no plot details, only to say it would be 'nasty and disgusting'. He hinted that it was not a Captain Spalding sequel or prequel, though a teaser trailer reveals a clown mask and horrifying laughter, recalling the auteur's most iconic slasher. Now, Rob Zombie has shared a production drawing that features men in skeleton costumes hanging out next too an ominous looking van.

Check out the concept art from Alex Horley, which the director/musician/artist posted on his personal Facebook page, along with the 31 teaser trailer released back in May.

Rob Zombie's guitarist John 5, who did music for The Lords of Salem, will be contributing to the 31 score.

Little else is known about this mysterious new horror project, but as the director himself states, we can expect all the details to be revealed very soon. Rob Zombie will be at Comic-Con 2014 next week, where he will debut his new animated short film inspired by the video game Assassin's Creed Unity. Perhaps he will share more at that time.
