Universal Pictures has made a number of changes to its 2013 slate today, with the most notable shift being 47 Ronin's move from February 8, 2013 to December 25, 2013. It will now face off against DreamWorks' Mr. Peabody and Sherman and Fox's The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. We reported in April that Keanu Reeves' action epic was being pushed from November 21 to February 8, 2013, in order to perfect its 3D presentation. It isn't known why this samurai adventure has been delayed again.

The studio has also moved its comedy Identity Thief from May 10, 2013 to February 8, 2013. It will go up against Open Road Films' The Bitter Pill and Relativity Media's Safe Haven. R.I.P.D. has been pushed up a month from June 28, 2013 to July 19, 2013, where it will face Paramount's Turbo. Jurassic Park's new 3D re-release will hit theaters on April 5, up three months from its previous July 19, 2013 date.

Universal also slated 2 Guns for release on August 16, 2013, where it will face Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall was given R.I.P.D.'s old release date of June 28, 2013, going up against The Internship and White House Down. Finally, About Time was given the May 10, 2013 date formerly occupied by Identity Thief.
