Eric Stoltz, Brendan Fehr, Camryn Manheim, Lyndsy Fonseca, Seymour Cassel and Kate Connor have climbed aboard the indie drama Fort McCoy, set during WWII.

According to Variety, Connor and Michael Worth are producing the $1 million-budget pic. Worth is directing from Connor's script, which is based on actual events.

The story centers on a barber who moves with his family during WWII to a POW camp in Wisconsin, where the children are the sole youngsters on the base -- save for a German teenager who forges an alliance that crosses language barriers with the barber's little girl.

The film is currently shooting in Wisconsin.
