The third chapter of Marvel Phase Two is on its way April 4, 2014. As Thor: The Dark World gets ready to launch in theaters across the country in just 14 days, Disney has unleashed the first footage from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. And it promises to be one of the biggest movies seen in the Marvel Universe thus far. The trailer does not disappoint.

Chris Evans returns as Steve Rogers, a World War II super soldier still out of time and having to deal with the trials and tribulations of our current decade. With the help of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Steve must once again suit up as Captain America, joining former ally, assassin Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and newcomer Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to take down a shady S.H.I.E.L.D. agent played by Hollywood icon Robert Redford. It's a thriller that has been described as Marvel's version of Three Days of the Condor. The plot of that film follows a mild mannered CIA researcher who finds all of his co-workers dead and must fight to find who is responsible, and who is truly on his side.

As we queue up this first look footage to obsessively watch it again and again this morning, we thought we'd share our favorite moments from this action packed two minutes of Marvel bliss. We loved the first Captain America: The First Avenger, and we can't wait to see this new one! Here are the 5 Things We Can't wait to see in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

1 Elevator Fight!

Elevator

Steve Rogers takes on an elevator full of bad guys, decimating all of them with his super strength and agile fighting ability. It's supposed to be one of the best fight scenes choreographed for any of the Marvel movies this far, and proves why Captain America remains one of our most fascinating heroes. Heck, he doesn't even need his shield for this close combat. His assets are truly a gift to mankind.

2 The Helicarrier Takes a Nosedive!

Helicarrier

There are a lot of aerial fight scenes promised in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but one of the biggest set pieces finds the iconic Helicarrier from Marvel's The Avengers taking a deep dive into the ground. How spectacular will the crash be? We'll have to wait and see, but we know Steve is safe as he jumps off the back bay door just in the nick of time.

3 Falcon Takes Flight!

Falcon

Speaking of Ariel fight scenes, Falcon has super-powered rockets, turning him into a bad ass Iron Man that soars through the sky at incredibly fast rates of speed. This isn't the winged wonder we know from the comic books, and don't call him a sidekick. As seen here, Falcon takes on a couple of humongous aircrafts all by himself. How much of an asset will he prove to be? We'll have to wait and find out.

4 Captain America and Black Widow: Will They or Won't They?

Black Widow

Forget Tony and Pepper, Steve and Natasha are the true power couple of the Marvel Universe. There is some mighty fine flirting at the beginning of this trailer, as Natasha teases Steve about his dating habits. We know from set photos that the two eventually share a kiss on an elevator, but are they doing it under the guise of secrecy, to sneak past some angry S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives? Or do they truly have feelings for one another. The trailer hints that this may be one of the biggest 'will they or wont they' romances seen on screen, as they can tease it out through a couple of movies. We think they make an awesome couple, and can't wait to see if they really hook up!

5 Robert Redford as the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Robert Redford

He's one of our greatest living actors, and that he has decided to be in a Marvel movie means a lot. He comes on hard and fast as a friend of Steve Rogers, but we know there is something sinister hiding behind those eyes. Just how dangerous is this guy? And how many of Roger's friends will end up dead at his hand? He wants to build a better world by tearing the old one down. Will Captain America become his biggest enemy?

6 Captain America Vs. The Winter Soldier

Winter Soldier

Bucky Barnes used to be Steve's best friend. Now he's at the top of his most wanted list. After boldly taking out Nick Fury, remaining cool as a cucumber, The Winter Soldier sets out to take on Steve face to face. We see them fighting just a tiny bit, but the teaser's biggest tease of all comes when Bucky grabs Cap's mighty shield out of the air with just four fingers, stopping it from slicing off his head. This is one bad guy we don't want to mess with.

Are you as excited as we are? Were there any other moments that truly engaged your sensibilities as a Marvel fanboy? Or does this look like a big steaming pile of Steve Rogers? Let us know what you think...
