Academy Award nominee Adam Driver finds himself fighting to survive in the first trailer for the much-delayed science fiction thriller, 65. Coming courtesy of Sony Pictures Releasing, 65 comes from the minds of the writers behind the 2018 hit horror outing, A Quiet Place, and is produced by Evil Dead II and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness filmmaker Sam Raimi. Check out the newly released trailer for 65 below.

Much like the footage itself, the plot of 65 has been clouded in darkness and shadow, with directing duo Scott Beck and Bryan Woods aiming to maintain as much of the mystery as possible. Thankfully, the curtain has now been pulled back slightly, revealing that yes, 65 will find Adam Driver battling dinosaurs. After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Adam Driver) quickly discovers he’s actually stranded on Earth…65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must make their way across an unknown terrain riddled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight to survive.

65 will be led by the hugely talented Adam Driver. Best known for starring as Ben Solo aka Kylo Ren in the Disney Star Wars sequel trilogy, a show-stealing role which he played throughout in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Driver’s back catalog is an ever-growing list of increasingly interesting projects for which he has teamed up with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Driver has so far been nominated for not one, but two Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actor for BlacKkKlansman in 2019 and Best Actor for Marriage Story in 2020, during which he and co-star and fellow Academy Award nominee Scarlett Johansson tell an intimate, often difficult tale of marriage.

Despite finding himself stranded in the past, Adam Driver will not be alone in 65, with Love and Monsters, Borderlands, and Barbie star Ariana Greenblatt and My Spy and Avatar: The Way of Water star Chloe Coleman joining him on this curious sci-fi adventure.

65 is far from the only intriguing project on the horizon for Adam Driver. The actor can next be seen in the absurdist comedy-drama, White Noise, which finds Driver as Jack Gladney, a professor of Hitler studies at the College-on-the-Hill, whose life is torn asunder by "the Airborne Toxic Event", a cataclysmic train accident that casts chemical waste over his town. Having played in select theaters, White Noise is due to be released on Netflix on December 30, 2022.

Driver is also due to portray driver and entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari in director Michael Mann’s Ferrari, which will detail the story of the man in 1957 as he deals with family problems while also preparing for the 1957 Mille Miglia. Continuing to unite with filmmaking legends, Driver is also due to star in Megalopolis for Francis Ford Coppola.

Produced, written, and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, 65 is a co-production between Columbia Pictures, Bron Creative, Raimi Productions, and Beck/Woods. Following several (specifically four) delays, 65 is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on March 10, 2023, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
