On August 5th MGM will release a number of titles from the 80s:

Valley Girl and The Sure Thing will get the special edition treatment. Valley Girl will come in a new 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound mix, 3 new commentaries (cast members, director Martha Coolidge and an 80's text trivia track), three featurettes ("Valley Girl: 20 Totally Tubular Years Later," "In Conversation: Martha Coolidge and Nicholas Cage" and "The Music of Valley Girl"), storyboard-to-film comparisons, original music videos from Modern English and The Plimsouls, and trailers. The Sure Thing will come with almost as many features, they include: 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound track, audio commentary with director Rob Reiner, text trivia track, four featurettes: "The Road to The Sure Thing," Casting The Sure Thing," "Dressing The Sure Thing" and "Reading The Sure Thing" and trailers. Retail price is $19.95 each.
The rest of the titles will have little to no features, but all will include a trailer. Thrashin' includes a featurette and Freestylin' Montage, and along with The Rachel Papers, Foxes, The Last American Virgin will be presented in new 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers and Dolby Digital 2.0 surround tracks, with the exception of Foxes which is mono only. The Flamingo Kid gets a non-anamorphic widescreen release, and the rest, Johnny Be Good, Hot Dog The Movie, Bright Lights Big City and Breakin' will come in full screen versions only. Retail price is $14.95 each.
