On Native Soil: The Documentary of the 9/11 Commission Report will get a near-simultaneous debut on television and DVD this summer, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Court TV has obtained exclusive television rights and Lionsgate has acquired DVD rights to the documentary which focuses on the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the U.S. from the perspective of the victims' families.

Kevin Costner and Hilary Swank narrate the film, based on the best-selling book, which features interviews with family members of the victims as well as U.S. Senators. John McCain and Joseph Lieberman and former Senator Max Cleland, a past 9/11 commissioner.
