The fourth season of The Boys is currently underway, and a new image reveals a peek at the return of Jessie T. Usher as A-Train. Posted to the show's official Twitter account, the photo shows A-Train showing off four fingers from the season 4 set, and a look at his face reveals that the Supe has been splattered with some kind of red liquid. Given the nature of the series, we can safely presume that to be blood, though the Twitter post jokingly suggests another explanation.

"This season, A-Train takes a splatter paint class, seems to be goin well," the tweet reads.

At the start of the show, Usher's A-Train literally ran into the series as one of its most reviled villains, inadvertently killing Hughie's (Jack Quaid) then-girlfriend Robin (Jess Salgueiro) due to his abuse of Compound V. A-Train has since been featured in an antagonistic role for the most part, though in some ways, he was trying to earn some redemption in season 3. This included rebranding himself and attempting to hold a racist superhero accountable for his needlessly killing Black people. While that didn't exactly go as according to plan, it ended up with A-Train getting a brand new heart and restoring his superpowers, and we can only imagine what that will mean for him speeding into season 4.

Showrunner Eric Kripke has also teased episode 401, revealing its title as "Department of Dirty Tricks." Huge casting news has also been announced as The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join the cast for season 4. It's not yet clear who Morgan will be playing, but Kripke has been trying for years to make this casting happen. Even after everything we saw in the first three seasons, a VFX supervisor has also teased that there are "unseeable" scenes that will be featured in season 4.
