Former child star Aaron Carter has sadly passed away. TMZ reports that the singer and rapper, who has also appeared in movies and reality TV shows like Dancing with the Stars, was found dead in the bathtub of his Lancaster, California home at around 11 a.m. on Saturday. Carter reportedly drowned, and while detectives are currently investigating, there's no indication at this time that foul play is a factor. Far too young, Carter was just 34 years old.

The younger brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, Carter rose to fame on his own at a very young age. He was only nine years old when he hit released his first studio album in 1997. After continued success in music, Carter later made the transition into rap as he got older. His fifth and final studio album, LOVE, was released in 2018.

Carter's struggles with addiction have also been well-documented over the years with multiple drug-related arrests and stints in rehab. He appeared in the medical advice show The Doctors in 2017 to address his issues, which found him testing positive for opiates that were considered to be at very dangerous levels as he was also underweight. In 2019, Carter also appeared in the reality show Marriage Bootcamp: Family Edition with his mother, Jane, with the goal of repairing some of the strain he had with his family.
