We may all know him by his stage name Aaron Paul, but his real name is Aaron Sturtevant, well, up until a few days ago that is. Breaking Bad's bad boy apprentice Aaron Paul has legally changed his name to what has been his stage name for years now. Paul, better known for his role on AMC's hit show Breaking Bad as Jesse Pinkman, was born in 1979 in Idaho to parents Robert and Darla Sturtevant.

He has been using his stage name Aaron Paul since he began his career in acting, but as of now, that will be his legal name as well. Aaron Paul's wife Lauren Parsekian and their two kids, will now all go by the last name Paul. They welcomed their daughter Story Annabelle in 2018, and their son in April 2022. The two children have had the last name Paul since birth, but according to TMZ, this petition also changes their infant son's first and middle name from Casper Emerson Paul to Ryden Caspian Paul. Paul’s legal docs state that he and Lauren Parsekian, 35, are requesting the changes for consistency’s sake.

"My little man. Ryden Caspian Paul. So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you. I promise to make you proud little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it’s time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly," the actor wrote on his Instagram account earlier this year.

In 2008, Aaron Paul gained notoriety by playing meth cook Jesse Pinkman on the much acclaimed AMC series Breaking Bad, alongside veteran actor Bryan Cranston. This series alone earned him 22 award nominations, and 10 wins.

Aaron has since moved on to play other critically acclaimed roles such as Warren Cave on Apple TV's crime drama series Truth Be Told, opposite Octavia Spencer and Lizzy Caplan. In 2019 he reprised his role as Jesse Pinkman in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie a sequel to Breaking Bad. Vince Gilligan, the series creator of Breaking Bad, wrote, directed, and produced El Camino. Other series cast members also reprised their roles, including Bryan Cranston, Charles Baker, Jesse Plemons, Krysten Ritter, Matt Jones, Robert Forster, and Jonathan Banks.
