Laura Harris and ABC have made a deal for the actress to star a new one-hour pilot targeted for fall 2007 or join an existing ABC/Touchstone series.

The talent deal comes from Harris' starring role on the ABC/Touchstone TV drama pilot, Hollis and Rae this past season. The Hollywood Reporter says in the pilot, from Steven Bochco and Callie Khouri, she played one of the title characters.

No word on the decision ABC will make.
