Despite the fact that the writers' strike is keeping any new scripted programming from making it to the air, ABC has still decided to canceled its new series Big Shots. According to The Hollywood Reporter the network will not be airing the last three remaining shows either.

The series starred Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina. Viewers have greeted the show with mixed reviews and a cold reception. The medical drama Private Practice will air in its place.

Most other scripted shows that might have been canceled at this time are being kept around due to the writers' strike.
