Commander in Chief has been officially pulled by ABC.

The Geena Davis and Donald Sutherland show never took off with the ratings after the first episode even after a long hiatus during the winter. The show centered around Geena as the first female president of the US; Sutherland played her nemesis.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is off the schedule for the remainder of the season. Beginning this week, newsmagazine Primetime will return to its Thursday 10 p.m. slot. The three unaired episodes of Commander In Chief are tentatively slated to air next month.
