ABC has ordered three new drama pilots for production. According to Variety, they will include dramas from Jerry Bruckheimer, McG, and legendary music producer and composer Pharrell Williams.

First up is a series entitled Limelight, which is based on Williams' own time spent at a performing arts school. The show will revolve around a group of students and Faculty in New York, and the script is being written by K.J. Steinberg and will be produced by McG. The famed director will also be behind Jerry Bruckheimer's new as-yet untitled drama, which focuses on a group of amateur crime fighters. The third ABC series to get picked up is called Empire State, which will take a look at two warring families: On one side are blue-collar ironworkers, and on the other side are wealthy real estate tycoons. At the center of the story will be a "Romeo and Juliet" type love story.

There are no set airdates for any of these upcoming pilots.
