ABC has given Jerry Bruckheimer a pilot commitment for his new drama, Hopscotch.

According to Variety, Chris Levinson is writing the Warner Bros. TV project, which is described as a "high-concept police procedural."

The project wound up at ABC after several nets went after it; insiders said the pilot commitment came thanks to a strong pitch from Levinson. She's set to exec produce along with Bruckheimer and Bruckheimer TV topper Jonathan Littman. Bruckheimer TV's KristieAnne Reed will co-exec produce.
