ABC has given a full season order to Dirty Sexy Money, according to Variety.

The order marks the first back-nine episode pick-up since writers went on strike two weeks ago. Such a move would seem odd, since there's no guarantee Dirty Sexy Money will even complete its initial 13-segment order, given the work stoppage.

But ABC executives are high on the show, which has been collecting buzz and turning into a sleeper surprise for the network. An ABC spokesperson said the net is still hoping that the strike can be resolved in time to jumpstart production before the end of the season.

Dirty Sexy Money stars Peter Krause as an attorney who winds up inheriting his father's live-long gig as private counsel to the eccentric, mind-numbingly wealthy Darling clan. Donald Sutherland stars as the Darling patriarch, with Jill Clayburgh as his wife. William Baldwin, Natalie Zea, Glenn Fitzgerald, Samaire Armstrong, and Seth Gabel play the Darling offspring, while Zoe McLellan portrays Krause's wife.
