Our exclusive Acceleration clip focuses on loyalty. Set in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles. The movie follows Natalie Burn's Rhona character across a single night. She is tasked with completing a set of depraved tasks to save her kidnapped son from her ruthless boss, a criminal kingpin played by Dolph Lundgren. This is a pretty interesting twist for Lundgren and he looks absolutely intense in the upcoming movie.

Acceleration centers on Vladik Zorich (Dolph Lundgren), a villainous crime lord, who is double-crossed by his most trusted operative Rhona (Natalie Burn). Vladik's propensity for power, control, and violence drives him to kidnap Rhona's son forcing her to participate in a twisted plan to eliminate one of Vladik's enemies. To keep her on a short leash, Vladik sets out the 'rules' to his 'game' and oversees Rhona's every move as she navigates the darkened streets of Los Angeles. As her son's life hangs in the balance, Rhona struggles to eliminate the most violent and depraved delinquents, however, Vladik underestimates the power of a mother's love and finds himself losing control as his devious plan collapses.

The Acceleration clip features Natalie Burn and Dolph Lundgren's characters during a tense discussion. It's just a short scene that teases how intense the project is actually going to be. Burn and Lundgren's powerful acting is on full display, even in the short little tease of the upcoming movie.

Michael Merino wrote and directed Acceleration with Daniel Zirilli. In addition to Dolph Lundgren, Natalie Burn, and Sean Patrick Flanery, the movie also stars Chuck Liddell, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, and Danny Trejo. Yolanda Macias, Cinedigm's Executive Vice-President of Acquisitions says, "Dolph Lundgren revs up the action and delivers a nonstop thrill ride in this pedal to the metal action movie." Macias seems to be right on the money from the footage that we've seen from the movie thus far. Lundgren recently took on a role in Sylvester Stallone's Creed 2, where he reprised his role as Ivan Drago. It is believed that he will be on board for the upcoming Expendables 4.

Cinedigm plans to release Acceleration in select theaters on November 8th, 2019. The Blu-Ray and DVD release is December 17th, 2019. The movie is produced by Natalie Burn and executive produced by Paul Hertzberg and Eric Brenner. The deal was negotiated by Josh Thomashow, Director of Acquisitions for Cinedigm and Paul Hertzberg. The Acceleration theatrical release is limited, so if you want to get in on seeing Dolph Lundgren and Danny Trejo kicking ass on the big screen, you should hop on getting your tickets as soon as possible. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until December to see it in the comfort of your own home.
