Adam Sandler is developing and planning to star in Narco, a remake of the 2004 French film, The Secret Adventures of Gustave Klopp, for his production company Happy Madison, according to Pajiba.

Narco is about a man who suffers from narcolepsy, who leads a very mundane life, except that when he falls asleep, he has action hero dreams. He works on trying to find a way to make his real life more like his dream life.

Clay Tarver (Joyride) is working the screenplay.

In other news, Adam Sandler is also in talks to play the lead in The $40,000 Man, written by Freaks and Geeks's star John Francis Daley.

No production dates have been set.
