Adam Sandler has put his Western Comedy Ridiculous 6 on hold to star in a currently untitled romantic comedy being developed by Warner Bros. He is looking to re-team with The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates co-star Drew Barrymore.

The story will focus on two divorced people, who after a bad blind date find themselves stuck in a resort with a family environment. They try to resist the urge to fall in love, but end up growing an attraction to each other.

Happy Madison and Gulfstream Pictures will be producing the project, which was written by Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera.

Adam Sandler most recently starred in That's My Boy and Hotel Transylvania. He will be seen next in his comedy sequel Grown Ups 2.

No production date has been released, but it expected to move forward very quickly.
