Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore's have cast Wendi McLendon-Covey to replace Chelsea Handler in their next romantic comedy The Familymoon.

Previously titled Blended, the film centers on a couple whose horrible blind date takes them to a family resort with the children from their former marriages. Wendi McLendon-Covey is playing Drew Barrymore's best friend with Joel McHale portraying her ex-husband.

Wendi McLendon-Covey is best known for her role as Rita in Paul Feig's comedy Bridesmaids and will next be seen in Think Like a Man Too, Tyler Perry's drama Single Mom's Club and has a role in Happy Madison Productions's upcoming TV series The Goldbergs.

Frank Coraci is directing from a script by writers Ivan Menchell, Clare Sera and Rodney Rothman. No production schedule has been released.
