Adam Shankman has signed on to produce and direct the family fantasy, Bedtime Story for Walt Disney Pictures.

Based on an idea by Disney executive Jason Reed, the story centers on an architect whose his life is turned upside down when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to come true, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Matt Lopez wrote the screenplay; production on Bedtime Story will start this summer.
