Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the animated series Agent Elvis. As it sounds, the series follows an animated version of Elvis Presley as he is recruited by the government for a secret spy program to "battle the dark forces that threaten the country he loves – all while holding down his day job as the King Of Rock And Roll." The series, formerly titled Agent King, will premiere on Netflix on Friday, March 17, and you can get a sneak peek by watching the new trailer below.
Hollywood icon Matthew McConaughey voices Elvis in the series. Kaitlin Olsen (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) also stars as CeCe Ryder, a secret agent who partners up with Elvis upon his recruitment into The Central Bureau (TCB). Other starring voice cast members include Johnny Knoxville (Reboot) as Bobby Ray, Elvis' best friends and not-so-bright sidekick; Niecy Nash (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) as Bertie, the strong-willed mother figure to Elvis who runs is day-to-day life; Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Scatter, Elvis' former NASA chimp with a trigger happy dark side; and Don Cheadle (Black Monday) as The Commander, the mysterious spy master who runs TCB.
Agent Elvis features many guest stars which even includes Priscilla Presley, who also co-created the series with John Eddie, voicing herself. Other confirmed guest stars include Ed Helms, Jason Mantzoukas, Christina Hendricks, Kieran Culkin, Chris Elliot, Asif Ali, Fred Armisen, Ego Nwodim, Simon Pegg, Craig Robinson, Gary Cole, George Clinton, Tara Strong, and Tony Cavalero.

Agent Elvis is the first adult animated project to be made by Sony Pictures Animation, the studio that brought you Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The show is made in partnership with Authentic Brands Group and Titmouse. The design for the Elvis Presley depicted in the series is made with the help of Academy Award nominee Robert Valley, and the wardrobe is designed by legendary fashion designer John Varvatos.
Mike Arnold serves as showrunner on the series. Priscilla Presley executive produces with Arnold, John Eddie, Kevin Noel, Matthew McConaughey, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, Ben Kalina, Jamie Salter, Corey Salter, and Marc Rosen. Fletcher Moules co-executive produced.
