Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned earlier this month to continue Season 3, and it's been one hell of a ride. We've already seen a number of familiar Marvel faces return throughout these last couple of new episodes. Now, another missing member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is about to reemerge. And it's someone who hasn't been seen since the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. at the hands of HYDRA, leading into Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Yes, fan-favorite actor Titus Welliver is returning as ex-Agent Blake. He will appear in the March 29 episode titled Watchdogs. ABC recently released the official synopsis for this upcoming episode. And as you can clearly see by the title, an iteration of the Marvel hate group Watchdogs will be arriving to take down the Inhumans. Here's the plot rundown.

"When a radical group called The Watchdogs emerges with plans to eliminate the Inhumans, Agent Mack and his brother become caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, Simmons discovers a powerful chemical compound that could alter the future for Inhumans. Guests: Titus Welliver, Mark Dacascos, Gaius Charles, Trenton Rostedt, Justin Morck, Jonathan Camp, D. Elliot Woods."

Titus Welliver has been lingering around the edged of the MCU for awhile. He was first introduced in the Marvel One-Shot: Item 47. He then later reemerged in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 1. He was last seen hospitalized by Deathlok. Captain America: The Winter Soldier's big HYDRA reveal happened shortly thereafter, and we haven't seen the man since. We never learned what happened to Blake or on what side of the law he stood.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will continue its Season 3 run this Tuesday with The Inside Man. It will be followed on March 22 with Parting Shot. A lot will surely happen in this world by the time Blake rears his head. What do you think? Are you happy to see the guy back in the mix?
