Saturday was a big day for Marvel Television as it was announced that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 is set to premiere on December 1st. They also revealed the first trailer for Marvel's Runaways. For those lucky enough to be in attendance for the Marvel panel at New York Comic-Con, a 20-minute teaser for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 was also previewed, which has yet to make its way online as of this writing, which means that it more than likely will not make it online, much like the mythical Avengers: Infinity War teaser that premiered at the D23 Expo and San Diego Comic-Con over the summer.

Fans in attendance for the Marvel panel were also treated to a lighthearted surprise when Marvel released the blooper trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. The 3-and-a-half-minute blooper reel does a great job at lifting the curtain behind one of TV's more serious shows, while demonstrating how much fun the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast and crew seems to have with each other. There's a great scene where Patton Oswalt is obviously making things up off the top of his head: Quage. Just think about that one for a moment.

Though the blooper reel was great for the rowdy Marvel crowd, it was the Season 5 teaser that everybody was there for. Normally, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would already be in full swing at this point, but ABC took a gamble and put out Marvel's Inhumans first, which has proven to be a misstep for Marvel and the network, since Inhumans is getting thrashed by fans and critics. One thing that it has done is create a giant wave of excitement and impatience for fans who are waiting for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to finally come back on the air. The good news is that the wait is nearly over.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel gave the fans what they came to see, a preview for Season 5, and it did not disappoint. Season 5 will pick up right after the events of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4, so the crew will be in space and the main villains will be the evil blue Kree. There's also a new mystery character and everybody will be in space except Fitz. All in all, fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have a lot to look forward to when December 1st rolls around.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premier after Inhumans on ABC, Friday, December 1st in a 2-hour special premiere. Since a trailer for Season 5 has not popped up online just yet, we can all check out the blooper reel for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4, courtesy of Marvel Entertainment's YouTube channel. Since December 1st is right around the corner, expect the trailer for Season 5 to drop any day now. Marvel knows that they have a hit on their hands and their doing their best to make sure that nothing leaks to ensure that fans are able to experience the show the way that it's supposed to be experienced.
