Chloe Bennet, known for her role as Daisy Johnson (Quake) in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., has recently addressed the potential return to her character. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was a highly popular television series that captivated audiences during its seven-season run from 2013 to 2020. This groundbreaking show, set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stood out as the first series to interconnect with the MCU films and other TV shows. However, the films never acknowledged the events depicted in the show. In an interview with Screen Rant, Chloe Bennet expressed her openness to reprising the role of Daisy Johnson if approached by Kevin Feige, the CEO of Marvel Studios.

She spoke fondly of the passionate Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans who played an instrumental role in bringing the show to life and their unwavering support. While Bennet maintained her affection for the role and her willingness to don the suit again, she made it clear that there have been no official discussions or plans for her character's return at present.

"Of course, I would be open to it. Listen, there's a lot of stuff around that. I so deeply love SHIELD fans, because it's their tenacity that got the show on air to begin with," she said. "I have not once been approached or asked or involved in anything after I've wrapped SHIELD, and I am not involved in anything that is coming out. I've not been asked, but I would be more than excited to put on the suit again. Of course, Daisy's a big part of who I am. So, I would love to, but I have not been communicated with."

Ming-Na Wen also remains uncertain about the possibility of returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When asked about a potential comeback, Wen revealed that she is kept in the dark just like the fans due to Marvel Studios' secretive nature. Despite the uncertainty, Wen openly expressed her deep attachment to the character and her longing to step into Melinda May's shoes once again. She emphasized the profound connection formed with the characters they bring to life, which becomes a part of their very being.

"I really can't tell what's going to happen, but I do know that having played her for seven years, 22 episodes every year, I miss being her. As an actor, we give birth to these characters and they become a part of us; they're in our DNA, and I do miss her being, so I hope one day that I get to bring Agent May back."

Notably, Wen's co-star Clark Gregg made a return to the Marvel universe in 2021 through the animated anthology series What If...?. This occurrence raises the possibility that characters from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may have a chance to reunite within the larger scope of the MCU. However, finding the right platform or storyline to reintroduce these characters into the Marvel universe may be a crucial factor.
