Nailed Right In: According to Variety, director Michael Corrente has set Alec Baldwin, Freddie Prinze Jr., Mena Suvari, Scott Caan and Jerry Ferrara ("Entourage") to star in Nailed Right In, a Gotham-based drama scripted by Emmy-winning "The Sopranos" writer Terence Winter. Lions Gate will distribute.

The pic is the first of at least four that will shoot over the next three years through Iridium Entertainment, a new venture hatched by Corrente and partner Marisa Polvino. Former Wall Street exec Jay Bernstein will assemble the financing for the four films, which will cost $8 million-$12 million each.

Corrente began shooting Nailed Right In on Monday. Iridium will bankroll two more films that he will direct, plus a fourth to be helmed by Peter Care (The Dangerous Lives Of Altar Boys).

When Corrente locks Nailed Right In, he will begin prepping The Berkeley Connection, a Marshall Brickman-scripted buddy comedy that will mark the first screen pairing of Robert Duvall and Dustin Hoffman, with Jennifer Connelly also starring.
