According to Variety, Sundance Channel and Court TV will team to produce a documentary from director Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room).

The hour-long documentary, titled The Human Behavior Experiments, will examine three behavioral studies from the '60s and '70s. Among them is The Miligram Experiment, a 1961-62 study that documented subjects obeying authority figures even when directed to inflict pain on others.

The documentary will place these experiments in a current context, with an eye toward events like the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.

The show airs June 1 on Sundance Channel and Court TV.
