The ensemble cast for the upcoming family comedy Humboldt Park has just gotten bigger. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alfred Molina, Jay Hernandez, Melonie Diaz, Luis Guzman, Vanessa Ferlito and Mercedes Ruehl have all joined the Humboldt Park cast.

Alfredo de Villa is directing from a script by Rick Najera, Alison Swan and Ted Perkins-Lopez that revolves around a family reunion during the holidays in the Chicago neighborhood of Humboldt Park. John Leguizamo and Freddy Rodriguez have already signed on as two brothers in the famliy.

Molina will play the family patriarch who owns a bodega, Hernandez will play a family friend who works at the bodega, Diaz is a former lover of Hernandez's character, Ferlito plays the daughter and friend to Diaz's character and Ruehl will play the mother.

Principal photography is set to commence on February 13 in Chicago.
