In the twist of the century, record-breaking blockbuster, Spider-Man: No Way Home's star Jacob Batalon, who plays Peter Parker's "guy in the chair" Ned Leeds reveals that whilst on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home, legendary actor, Alfred Molina, who plays iconic Spider-Man villain Otto "Doc Ock" Octavius asked Batalon for his autograph. Molina, of course, is a household name for Marvel fans, for his portrayal of Doctor Octopus (also known as Doc Ock) in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2, which is often hailed as one of the best comic book movies of all time. Batalon also said that he was very surprised at this request, given that he was actually deliberating asking Molina for his.

While talking to THR, Batalon revealed that the whole cast was excited to meet Molina from the moment they found out about his casting. This, of course, was kept under wraps from the public until its widespread report prior to the film's release and finally revealed in the first Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer when in a climatic end, Molina appears, simply saying "Hello Peter." And it came as no surprise that this moment effectively broke the internet, prompting a plethora of memes, and reshares, and even led the trailer to be the most viewed trailer of all time.

Spider-Man: No Way Home opened to one of the biggest openings in history, netting over $587 million and certainly looks to be on course to being the highest-grossing movie in the pandemic era. It is also hailed for its perfect dynamic of pairing young, and upcoming actors like Tom Holland and Zendaya, with seasoned veterans like Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina.
