Jennifer Garner celebrated the 20th anniversary of ABC series Alias by posting her very first TikTok video, which just happened to be a then and now look at the cast and crew of the J.J. Abrams series which starred the actress as Sydney Bristow, a double agent working for the CIA. Using footage from a reunion gathering of those involved in the show, Garner paid tribute to the program that also starred Michael Vartan, Bradley Cooper, Victor Garber and Gina Torres among others. Garner shared the video on her Instagram account, commenting, "We're here, we're older, but we still got it."

In her post, Jennifer Garner acknowledged the love out there for the iconic series and also made mention to some of the people who couldn't be at the reunion, such as Cooper and Abrams. "Twenty years ago this week, tonight in fact, Alias aired for the first time on @abcnetwork. If you're an idea born of @jjabramsofficial's brain- you're a big one; JJ's ambitious imagination pushed every department on the crew of Alias through and past the norm, it was so much FUN," Garner said.

"Since the end of the show, April of 2005, running into a cast or crew member from Alias has always led to this question-When will you get everyone back together for a reunion?" Garner continued in the lengthy post. "The 20th anniversary seemed like as good an excuse as any, so the call went out-reunion party is happening, pass it on! We missed everyone who was working and couldn't make it in. We missed you, Jabrams, (because I screwed up and made this happen on a night you were busy). But man, it felt so good to be together again. The 20th anniversary also seemed like as good an excuse as any to join TikTok. No dot in the middle over there, but the same nonsense- jennifergarner on TikTok-I am more embarrassed for myself than you could possibly be for me, so just please-avert your gaze."

The series debuted on September 30th, 2001 and was a moderate hit for ABC, leading to the show running for a total of 105 episodes across five seasons. The series was based on the idea of Garner's Sydney Bristow attempting to keep her secret career from her friends and family, while attempting to take down a criminal organization from the inside. Fans and critics both praised the show heavily, although it never managed to be a runaway smash hit for the network but there have been constant calls from the show's large following for a revival of the series. While Garner told The Hollywood Reporter last year that she would certainly be up for a revival to take another crack at the character, there are currently no such plans being discussed.

Alias is just one of many iconic series celebrating a 20th anniversary this year, but it is one of the few that has managed to get the cast and crew back together to celebrate the event. From the video, it looks like it was a pretty emotional reunion and one that Jennifer Garner's fans certainly appreciated seeing as her Instagram post quickly gained over 300k likes.
