We may not know when a new Alien movie is coming our way, but at least Alien Day is coming back in 2018. The annual celebration of all things Alien returns on April 26, 2018, for its third annual global celebration of the iconic sci-fi franchise. In addition to a whole bunch of activities and special deals to celebrate the franchise, a first of its kind initiative will be announced leading up to Alien Day, which is set to launch on April 26th.

Alien Day takes place each year on April 26, which is a nod to planet LV-426 from Ridley Scott's first Alien movie. But you won't have to wait till then to get in on the fun. Beginning today, Fox has unveiled all-new apparel commemorating Dark Horse's upcoming comic, Aliens: Dust to Dust, which launches later this month. In preparation for Alien day, fans can shop from a wide selection of never-before-available merchandise on Shop.FoxMovies.com. Additionally, the first 50 customers to purchase select Alien-themed merchandise will receive the first copies of Aliens: Dust to Dust #1.

Also, leading up to the celebration, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will make every movie in the franchise available to own digitally for $4.99, via the Movie of the Day app. This includes Alien (4/21), Aliens (4/22), Alien 3 (4/23), Alien: Resurrection (4/24), Prometheus (4/25) and Alien: Covenant (4/26). So you can complete your Alien movie collection pretty cheap. If you're more of a gamer, you can win Alien movies on Blu-ray and other prizes by competing in Zen Studios' Aliens Pinball FX3 tournament. Everyone who plays the Aliens table on Five-Minute Mode between April 26 and May 3 is eligible, with the best prizes going to those who top the leaderboards. So now is the time to brush up on those skills. Players can download Pinball FX3 for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10 or Steam.

Also, if you have HBO, you'll be in luck. HBO On Demand, HBO GO, and HBO NOW will offer a special presentation of the franchise including the director's cut of Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien: Resurrection, and Alien: Covenant. Sorry, Prometheus fans. But five out of six isn't too bad. Fans should also stay tuned for special merchandise announcements, limited edition releases, giveaways and unveils to take place on and in the days leading up to this year's Alien Day.

For this year's Alien day, Fox has partnered with Dark Horse, Eaglemoss, The Loyal Subjects, Fright Rags, Geek Fuel, Mattel, Super 7, Diamond Select, Wonderdice, Park Agencies, Heighway Pinball Limited, Titan, NECA, Mondo, Prime 1, Trevco, Changes, Funko and more.
