While most fans head to Comic-Con every year to get their first look at some of the most highly-anticipated new movies, others come to the convention to celebrate beloved classics. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of 20th Century Fox's iconic sequel Aliens, and the studio decided to celebrate this momentous occasion with a Hall H panel taking place today at 3:15. For those who won't be able to make it to the panel, Fox Home Entertainment held a live-streamed Q&A session with several cast members, along with director James Cameron and producer Gale Anne Hurd.

If you weren't watching live on YouTube earlier this afternoon, we have the entire video below. James Cameron and Gale Ann Hurd were joined by stars Sigourney Weaver (Ripley), Bill Paxton (Hudson), Lance Henriksen (Bishop), Paul Reiser (Burke), Michael Biehn (Hicks) and Carrie Henn (Newt). For those who are in San Diego, a fan screening with an intro from James Cameron will follow the panel tonight at 7:00 PM at The UA Horton Plaza Theatre.

Fox Home Entertainment will also release a 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray on September 13, which will feature a new interview with director James Cameron about the design and inspiration of this beloved sequel. Fans who pre-order their copy at the Fox Comic-Con booth (#4229) will receive a Limited Edition lithograph of "Ripley vs. Queen." We'll be sure to keep you posted with any updates about this Blu-ray release in the weeks and months ahead.

The terror continues in James Cameron's Aliens as Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) returns to Earth after drifting through space in hypersleep for 57 years. Her stories about the alien encounter are disbelieved by Company executives who tell her that the alien?s planet is now inhabited and colonized. She agrees to accompany a team of high-tech marines back to LV-426...and this time it's war!

When contact is suddenly lost with the colonists, Ripley returns to the planet with a squad of marines, an android (Lance Henriksen), and a Company executive (Paul Reiser) with a mission of his own. Once on the planet, no survivors can be found except for Newt, a little girl who awakens motherly instincts in Ripley just in time for the acid-blooded aliens to attack in what quickly becomes a one-sided battle for sheer survival. Take a look at the Comic-Con Q&A below, along with a photo from the event with James Cameron and Sigourney Weaver.
