This past April 26 was officially deemed Alien Day by 20th Century Fox. And with that came a ton of new Xenomorph merchandise and special anniversary screenings of Aliens. Now, in the wake of what it has left behind, we get our first look at something we thought we'd never see, The Albino Xenomorph as created by Aliens director James Cameron.

The Albino Alien is coming from NECA, who wowed fans with their 'Kenner-Throwback' Ripley action figure unveiled during Alien Day this past week. They also revealed a new Newt action figure, along with Private Vasquez. Now, they have pulled the curtain back on what might be their pièce de résistance. The Albino Xenomorph arrives as part of Series 9 for this collection, and it's a concept that was taken from James Cameron's original Aliens script before he made some revisions.

The Albino Alien is NECA's first 'concept figure' from the line of action figures based on the 1986 sci-fi action classic. The alien was described in Cameron's script as having an excreting probe instead of the usual second inner-mouth. The Albino Alien comes with over 30 points of articulation, and its mouth probe is bendable. Matched with its scary color scheme, this is one truly frightening piece of plastic. Especially considering that it stands over 9" tall.

Also arriving with the Series 9 Albino Alien is Private Ricco Frost. Known as Frosty to his fellow space Marines, this is the first time ever that actor Ricco Ross has had a toy based on his exact likeness. He comes with detailed body armor and several accessories. Included are a removable helmet, ammo bag, M240 Flamethrower, and pistol that fits in a functioning holster. This guy also comes strapped with 25 points of articulation.

And lastly, as teased throughout the week, is Private Jenette Vasquez, originated on the big screen by Jenette Goldstein. The actress attended the Los Angeles 30th Anniversary screening of Aliens on the 26th alongside Carrie 'Newt' Henn. Now her younger self is forever immortalized in plastic. This is said to be one of the most requested action figures of all time, and she arrives with gear that is quite faithful to the movie. The action figure comes with 30 points of articulation, a smartgun with fully articulated harness, plus a blast effect that attaches to the muzzle. You can see all the action figure photos below.

There are currently two Alien movies in various stages of production set up at 20th Century Fox. Alien: Covenant is shooting now under the direction of original Alien director Ridley Scott and will be in theaters next year. Neill Blomkamp will follow up with his tentatively titled Alien 5, which doesn't have a set start date at this time. The movie is said to be a direct sequel to Aliens and will bring back Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley, Michael Biehn as Corporal Hicks, and Carrie Henn as Newt. With such strong ties to Aliens, it's possible that Blomkamp might introduce the Albino Alien in Alien 5. We can dream, right?
