The critically acclaimed horror flick All the Boys Love Mandy Lane was dropped from its release date last week by the Weinstein Company. According to Variety, Senator U.S. has now bought the rights to the film and they plan on releasing it sometime in early 2008.
Jonathan Levine directed the film from an original script by Jacob Forman. The film revolves around a group of high schoolers that invite Mandy Lane (Amber Heard), a good girl who became quite hot over the summer, to a weekend party on a secluded ranch. While the festivities rage on, the number of revelers begins to drop quite mysteriously.
The rest of the cast includes Anson Mount, Michael Welch, Edwin Hodge, Whitney Able, Peyton Hayslip and Aaron Himelstein.
