It looks like actress Allison Pill is replacing Ellen Page in writer/director Bradley Rust Gray's lesbian werewolf romance Jack & Diane. This news comes courtesy of the film's offical website. The casting change may come as a disappointment to fans of Juno, who were excited to see Page reuniting with her co-star Olivia Thirlby (the love interest in the film) in a scary romance for the ages.

Jack & Diane follows the adventures of two teenage girls that meet in New York City. They spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane's charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack's tough skinned heart. But, when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week she tries to push her away. Diane struggles to keep their love alive while hiding a secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is turning her into a werewolf.

The Brothers Quay will be creating animated sequences to create Diane's transformation into a scary creature of the night. The film begins shooting in and around New York City soon.
