Mary Harron's American Psycho gave the audience an insanely gnarly and mind-bending horror film whose ending is under constant debate to date. Christian Bale's iconic portrayal of a psychotic and psychologically delusional investment banker on Wall Street remains one of the finest performances in cinematic history. Bale's villainous character accounted for some gruesome sequences in the film that involved murder and violence, while in his competitive professional persona, various sequences involved Bateman in his banker attire. The obsession with a perfect body and a glowing face was well documented in the film as a crucial attribute of Bateman's personality.

Now, Iconiq Studios is celebrating Patrick Bateman's portrayal and personification in the film with a new ⅙ scale figure resembling Christian Bale in the role. The collectible comes with all accessories to give that figure an accurate get up just as in the film such as his attires, his glasses, and of course his tools of murder and violence.

These accessories can allow the buyers to redress the figure in whatever form of Patrick Bateman they prefer. Among these, the most iconic and accurate one is Bateman's get-up and expressions from the scene where he murders Jared Leto's character, Paul Allen. The figure, just as in the sequence, can be redesigned to have a raincoat, with a separate detachable head (the bloody one laying down in the above image), with Bateman's hand and arms refigured in a manner he appears to be hitting someone with an ax.

The figure, in this form, looks really horrific and would take the buyers down memory lane to the very sequence of the film, where this unexpected crime takes place. Take a look at the image below;

Bateman's professional look comes as a default in the ⅙ scale figure where he looks office-ready with a briefcase and a classic business card. This is a nod to the sequence where Bateman and his fellow bankers showed their materialistic achievements and measured them on the basis of how luxurious and premium their business cards looked.

Another classic one among the several shapes Bateman's ⅙ collectible could be configured is the one where he has his cassette player with wired headphones on his head. This particular configuration involves Bateman's figure dressed up with an overcoat over his suit, similar to what he used to wear in the cold, off the premises of his house or office. It resembles the very first office attire we see him in in the film, where he is seen walking through the corridor to the office seemingly ignoring everyone around him.

The collectible is getting a lot of attention due to its high accuracy to the characters' portrayal in the film and its consideration towards his accessories and materialistic needs. These accessories were crucial to the plot of the film and the characters' development and personality attributes throughout the film.

His obsession with his possessions and his routine was essential to understanding his psychosis, which eventually leads the viewers to a confused, ambiguous, and debatable ending. Guess, the only thing missing from this collectible would be the face and hair care routine Bateman boasted about at the beginning of the film. It's just pretty nostalgic to have those images in such precise formats after more than two decades.

The American Psycho-inspired ⅙ collectible figure of Patrick Bateman is priced at $269 and is available for pre-order on Iconiq Studios' Website.
