A major motion picture about the notorious Zodiac Killer, who terrorized the San Francisco Bay area starting in the late 1960s and has never been caught, will hit theaters in a few days. America's Most Wanted, the nation's top crime-fighting show, has long been involved in the hunt for The Zodiac. In a special episode airing Saturday, Feb. 24 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, America's Most Wanted host John Walsh will examine the true story of the Zodiac murders, and lay out the clues that could finally lead to the elusive serial killer's capture.

Walsh will take viewers to the crime scenes and other locations connected to the case, accompanied by Robert Graysmith, an expert on "The Zodiac and the author of the book "Zodiac Unmasked." In the film Zodiac, which opens on March 2, Graysmith is portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal. The special episode of America's Most Wanted will include interviews with Gyllenhaal and the film's other stars, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr., along with clips from the movie.

During the broadcast, Walsh also will reveal, for the first time, details about threatening letters he received that include bizarre symbols similar to those The Zodiac put in his taunting letters to newspapers. The sender of these letters to the America's Most Wanted host has never been identified.

Although The Zodiac's violent killing spree began - and perhaps ended - nearly four decades ago, Walsh believes that with the help of America's Most Wanted viewers, whose tips have led to the arrests of more than 900 dangerous fugitives to date, this case can still be solved, and The Zodiac's victims can finally get the justice they've long awaited.
