Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, and Parker Posey have signed on to star in the comedy, Spring Breakdown for Warner Bros. and Code Entertainment.

Ryan Shiraki co-wrote the script with Dratch and will direct the film which is a follow-up to his feature directorial debut Freshman Orientation. Variety says the story revolves around three thirtysomething friends who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that's a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds. One of the women works for a powerful senator whose daughter is one of those co-eds, only she's as geeky as her chaperones.

Spring Breakdown is scheduled to start shooting next month in Los Angeles.
