The U.S. distribution rights to Jon Knautz's Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer were bought at the Slamdance film festival by Anchor Bay Entertainment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the deal made for Knautz's debut feature includes a theatrical release.

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer stars horror screen legend Robert Englund as the narrator. The plot revolves around a teen (Trevor Matthews) that is haunted by the murder of his parents. As time goes on, the teen slowly begins to unlock an ancient mysterious evil force.

No announcement has been made as to when Anchor Bay Entertainment will release Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer.
